Silicosis (Pulmonary) Specialists

Because silicosis is just beginning to be diagnosed in larger numbers, there are not currently many doctors yet who specialize in treating silicosis specifically. Rather, you will most likely be dealing with doctors who treat a range of lung diseases such as lung cancer, silicosis, emphysema, and so on.

You can ask for referrals from people you know who have had positive experiences with pulmonary care specialists. Or check with your local hospital or pulmonary care center for a referral to a local doctor.
