You need to decide whether or not you want CPR if your heart stops or you stop breathing. This is a choice that's yours to make. Talk it over with your family so that they understand your wishes in this regard. A DNR (do not resuscitate) order is placed in your medical chart and is accepted by doctors and hospitals in all states.
